Missionary update :)

Last time I wrote was right after my missionary, Colter Ty Lowry, got his call! I am now determined to be better at keeping it updated. :) So as of now Colter has been on his mission for almost five months on March 17th. He has been an amazing missionary and has exceeded EVERYONE'S expectations!! He has had 2 baptisms while serving in Argonia, Kansas. Wichita, Kansas became it's own mission recently, so he is anxiously waiting to see where he will end up as of July! Here are some of his thoughts about it from his most recent email. :)                                                                          "We were thinking we were pretty special since we are one of the biggest missions, we thought only a few missions would be splitting already but then later friday night we heard that there were 58 new missions being created!!! So exciting! There is so much work that needs to go forth and with Heavenly Father increasing the amount of missionaries, its really made us missionaries realize how much the members need to step up their proselyting efforts as well to match that of the missionaries! The new Kansas Wichita Mission will obviously have its headquarters in Wichita Kansas and the mission boundaries will be drawn in the coming weeks.  President Keyes will be getting a map soon and then probably send it out to us right after that! The split is scheduled to take place July 1st, but since we are one of the biggest missions it is possible that if everything works out prior to that, then we could split sooner.  We don't really know too much more except that President Keyes says that he won't transfer a missionary without fasting and prayer and that wherever the line are drawn and wherever we are in the mission when that division is made, is where we need to be!! It will be exciting and crazy to see what mission I will be serving in!"
He has been so amazing and is always pushing to better. I think everyone could learn a lesson or two from that boy!

As of our relationship, we are more in love then ever!! He has been so focused but so caring at the same time and that is very hard to find. First meeting Colter I never thought he would be the kind of man that I would want to marry, but as time has gone by and we have now been dating for 14 months I couldn't imagine myself being with anyone but him. He is the only thing that makes my world go round. <3

Mission Call!!!

Colters Misson Call

Colter Ty Lowry was called as a missionary on May 24, 2012. He was called to the Independence,Missouri mission and scheduled to depart on October 17, 2012. I am so proud of Colter and all he has accomplished in his life! He is and will always be a great example. Colter and I met on the way home from cross country state in Boise late October 2011. Our hands touched and we felt the 'spark.' :) Then about two to three days later he... added me on facebook and got my number! We talked everyday for about a month and then finally went on our first date, and officially started dating on December 18, 2011. I am very glad to have met someone like Colter. He fit's in PERFECTLY with my family. On May sixteenth he was ordained as an Elder and got the Melchizedek priesthood! I was able to meet some of his cousins and Aunts and Uncles, and of course the Grandparents. :) We had a fun cook out and played some games outside! I am so glad I was able to be there! Then on the 24th I was able to see them all again and watch him open his call. It was so fun to have everyone cheer and to see the excitment in his eyes. He will be an amazing missionary and he will bless many lives! I love him. :)
